A sweet sister of Notre Dame sold me this on a snowy night in Billings, Montana in 1971. It was an experiment based on her own design. Rumor has it, the small brass dialeetum on the bottom caused instant audio insanity. She said Mother Superior forbade such experimentation because it was uncharitable. It is apparently disconnected now . . . it might be just a couple of loose wires.
